Bulimia is an eating disorder which can affect both men and women but, women are 10 times more likely to develop bulimia than men. Around 8 in every 100 women have bulimia at some point in their lives. The condition can occur at any age but it often starts around the age of 19. Bulimia can affect children, but this is extremely rare. People with bulimia tend to alternate between eating excessive amounts of food (bingeing), and making themselves sick, or using laxatives (purging), in order to maintain a chosen weight. Treatment should include dealing with the emotional issues as well as the physical because help with eating and simply putting weight on is usually not enough.

Clinical Hypnotherapy is successfully helping to stabilize emotions, reprogramming mind, and build up self esteem. Normally it takes two - three sessions to get a stable positive change.
